User Provisioning Saves the Day

The Client….

Let me be clear. I don’t work cheaply. When people call and request my aura, they know it will cost them plenty. That did not stop my latest client. A mid-sized real estate firm decided to go for the brass ring and request me and my team to come in and save the day. Before engaging my team of rock stars and ninjas, I vetted their ability to provide us with the proper conference rooms and chairs. After receiving confirmation of their capabilities in these areas, I gave the order to the team to commence travel.

The Challenge…

It was taking the customer months to properly provision new users. A new real estate agent was hired and they could not conduct business! Over-priced home sales could not be made due to faulty user provisioning. I casually asked the CIO if he was aware of how much money he was losing. I also made inference to the fact that I have had CIOs removed for lesser offenses and would not hesitate to outsource his role. He immediately quivered in my presence and gave me the keys to the kingdom.

The Solution…

My team of ninjas immediately sprang into action. George created a 50 page Gantt chart filled with circular dependencies. Marge created a workflow diagram that went for several miles. I staffed a team of offshore resources, project managers, program managers, note takers, food runners, and Uber drivers for a cool $20 million. We then celebrated with a surf and turf meal at the most expensive restaurant in town.
